Getting Fit For Life
I've noticed when I don't exercise for several days, it's hard to get back in the habit. I went walking yesterday around 5 p.m. and died. It was very hot. I am convinced I need to save up for a gym membership so I can sweat in the air conditioning. (at least during the summer months) I drank a bottle of water before my walk, and one after, yet I still felt dehydrated. Ugh! I hate summer|
It's hot at work too. I was wet with sweat all night long. I think I drank a total of 100 ounces of water last night. (not counting the 12 oz of Gatorade to replace electrolytes) Why does summer have to exist?
I have been tracking my calorie intake for over a week now. I don't eat a consistent amount every day. I'm fluctuating between 1,400-1,800 calories a day. I figured I must eat 2,500 to maintain my current weight so I guess I'm doing good. The weight is coming off, but it's coming off slllowwwlllyyy. I wish I could reach my goal already. (I'm impatient)
I refuse to give up though. I've worked too hard to get this far, to quit now. I consider my getting fit a lifestyle and not a diet. I plan on exercising three-four times a week and eating healthy for the rest of my life. My body will thank me.
Thanks for allowing me to ramble on about myself. :P
